These two items include an article by James in 'Race Today' on The Black Power disturbances in Trinidad and Tobago in 1970 and a heavily annotated photocopy of a piece by James on South Africa. On the reverse side of the two pages of the latter item is a handwritten version of a speech by James delivered on 16 November at the Assembly Hall. The speech deals with the current situation in Trinidad and Tobago.
