Martin Adamson papers: from the D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson Collection,

Scope and Contents The collection, containing an envelope and a long-playing record, sheds light on the friendship between Amy Ashwood Garvey and Thelma Rogers of Trinidad and Tobago. They met while Amy Garvey was in Trinidad and Tobago during 1954-55, lecturing to women's organizations. It also records their involvement with an Afro-Women's Centre in London.
