Howard Hanlon Cooke, M.P., 42, is a headteacher, who refused promotion to concentrate on politics. He has the reputation of being a charming conversationalist and pesuasive platform speaker. Mr. Cooke has been headmaster of the Montego Bay Boys' School and is Assistant Secretary of the Montego Bay Guilds club, the leading institution of its kind in that area. (May-1958) (WIP-26)
