Esperance Sporting Club Papers
Abstract
The collection contains typescripts of administrative documents from the early history of the Esperance Sporting Club over the period 1952-1954. Included are letters, cricket team schedules, players-lists and correspondence with the South Naparima Cultural & Sports Association. The papers focus primarily on the Clubs' activities in the local cricket leagues and invitational matches. Among the correspondences is a letter dated 5th January 1953 to Mr. Sonny Ramadhin, a former West Indies cricketer, who also a member of came from the Esperance community.
