Biographical / Historical

Lise Winer, Canadian and Professor at McGill University, received her doctorate in linguistics from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. She has researched and published extensively on languages in the Caribbean and is an outstanding lexicographer. Among her publications is the Dictionary of English/Creole of Trinidad and Tobago.
