Roy Joseph, C.B.E., M.P., 53, is a former Minister of Education and Social Services. He lost his seat on the Legislative Council in 1956 after being a legislator for 15 unbroken years. He was a member of the San Fernando Borough Council from 1937-50. HE Broke witht he West Indies National Party in 1946 and remained and Independent until the formation of the D.L.P. last year.
