Abstract

The collection consists mainly of correspondence, handwritten and photocopied notes, bills, minutes, examiners' reports newspaper clippings and conference papers. Included are several documents relating to the Constitution Commission of Trinidad and Tobago, of which Mr. Maurice was a member. The records largely reflects his work as President of the Senate of Trinidad and Tobago. However, there are also several documents relating to his work as an educator.

The collection contains materials accumulated by Mrs. Joslynne Carr-Sealey during her career as an opera singer and musicologist.
